Eagle Bluff Lighthouse
The Eagle Bluff lighthouse is located in Peninsula State park near Ephraim in Door County, Wisconsin. It is 43 feet tall and stands atop a rock bluff 76 feet above the waters of Green Bay. It was built in 1868 and manned until 1926 when it was fully automated. The lighthouse continues to operated today with the building used as a musuem.Back to top
Sherwood Point Lighthouse
Built in 1883, the Sherwood Point Lighthouse is located near Idlewild in Door County Wisconsin on the west side of the north entrance into Sturgeon Bay on the shores of Green Bay. This lighthouse was manned for 100 years before being automated in 1983. The light stands 37 feet above the ground and has a range of 15 miles in clear skies.Back to top
Cana Island Lighthouse
Located in Bailey's Harbor, Wisconsin on the shores of Lake Michigan, the Cana Island Lighthouse was first built in 1869. While originally built out of brick, the harsh winters quickly took their toll. In 1902, the tower was clad in steel to protect it from the elements. The original light was fueled by lard, then kerosene, until is electrified and automated in 1945. The main light is 89 feet above the surrounding shoreline and can be seen from 17 miles away in clear dark skies.Back to top
